Submitting Designs for Custom Manufacturing

At Milplex, precision and customization are central. To ensure that we can accurately and efficiently convert your designs into high-quality end products, we ask you to provide files in the correct formats and according to the guidelines below.

Important Delivery Specifications Size and scale:

Make sure the design is full size or clearly scaled. Indicate the scale ratio in the file or in an accompanying document.

Layer structure:

Use a clear layer structure. Indicate the specific operation per layer (for example cutting, engraving or drilling).

Cutting and engraving lines:

Use clear line colors to distinguish between cutting (e.g. red) and engraving (e.g. blue). – Add a legend if necessary.

Lagenstructuur:

Gebruik een overzichtelijke lagenstructuur. Vermeld per laag de specifieke bewerking (bijvoorbeeld snijden, graveren of boren).

Supported File Formats

To ensure seamless processing of your design, we ask you to use the following file formats:

.ai (Adobe Illustrator):

Ideal for vector illustrations and graphic design. Make sure all text has been converted to outlines.

.eps (Encapsulated PostScript):

Suitable for vectorized graphics files. This format
is perfect for more complex designs and patterns.

DXF (Drawing Exchange Format):

Standard format for CAD drawings, excellent for technical designs.

DWG (Drawing):

Commonly used format for 2D and 3D drawings in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
